Happy Birthday "Little Man"

"Little Man" turned six years old at the end of April. We celebrated his birthday in "grand fashion" this past weekend -- inviting over 40 people (with over 30 in attendance), renting a castle bounce, ordering pizza and breadsticks for lunch, and indulging in TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) cake for a treat.

This was the first "real" birthday party that "Little Man" was allowed to have. We've always celebrated in the past but only with family and a small circle of close friends. This year we decided that it was time to let him invite his classmates. As it turns out, he had other plans...he wanted to invite BOTH Kindergarten classes, 30 kids! Somewhere along the line he actually convinced me to allow him to do that -- I think my husband thought I had finally lost my mind!!

Things went very well overall. A few bumps in the road here and there, but all of the kids that attended were very well behaved, respectful, and just a pleasure for us to have at our home. Our day was filled with smiles and giggles and I am so thankful that we were allowed the opportunity to have such a fun filled day with so many of "Little Man's" friends.

Here are some highlights from the day...
