Finally some nice weather...

We weren't able to celebrate my husband's birthday with his family on his actual birthday so we decided to do it on Saturday instead. I haven't been feeling well, but decided to try to make the most of the day since it was actually BEAUTIFUL outside for once over the weekend. It actually topped out at over 80 degrees.

We headed to Chili's in Burnsville for lunch and then drove to St. Paul to spend the day at Como Zoo. None of us had been there for some time, so it seemed like a good idea especially with it being so nice outside. We got to see plenty of animals (besides the three that we brought with us!) and there was plenty of sun to be had. We stopped for a treat mid-day and rounded out the day with a stop at the Como Town Kiddie Amusement Park. The kids had a blast and I really enjoyed getting together with everyone and just spending some time outside even if I wasn't feeling the best!
