Memorial Day

First of all -- a BIG "thank you" to all veterans past and present for all that you do, and all that you sacrifice, on behalf of this great country.  Thank you for your courage, your dedication, and for protecting the freedoms of all Americans!

Now, here is a little glimpse of how we spent our Memorial Day:

1.  Together
2.  Enjoying the great outdoors
3.  Experiencing something new

Can you guess what we did?

We went to our first MN Twins game at Target Field!  The Twins managed to snap their five-game losing streak and rallied in the 8th...winning 5 to 4 over the Oakland A's!!  Yeah!  The highlight of the day, you ask -- Justin Morneau who not only drove in two runs during the game (including the tying run in the 8th) but who was also kind enough to throw 2 balls up to "Little Man" over the course of the game.  Talk about an excited 9 year old!  Thanks to our employer, we had two Dugout Box seats...front row right behind the Twins dugout.  "Little Man" and his dad spent most of the game down there, but "Feisty Girl" and I swapped-out seats with the boys during the 5th and 6th innings.  I would have stayed down there longer, but "Feisty Girl" kept complaining how hot the sun was making her -- so after listening to nearly two full innings of complaining, I decided to pack it up, give the good seats back to the boys, and head back up to our shaded seats.
