My Little Boy Turns Six Tomorrow

"Little Man" turns six years old tomorrow and I'm not quite sure where the time has went. It seems like just yesterday that I held him in my arms and was able to touch his angelic little face for the very first time.

In six short years he has turned into this kind, gentle soul who is concerned about others more than he is himself. He enjoys being outside, coloring, playing games, watching movies, and spending time with his friends. He is "Feisty Girl's" protector. He sticks up for the "underdog." He used the word "crap" in a sentence for the first time the other day and when I asked him not to say that word and asked him where he had heard it he nonchalantly answered "you and dad." (Lovely!) He loves music as much as the rest of his family and sings along to any and every song that comes on the radio. He likes to wrestle around with his dad. He is beginning to read and can speak some Spanish and Chinese in addition to English. He loves putting puzzles together. He is very analytical and logical child who has a definite method to his madness.

He has his parents wrapped around his little finger. He has touched the hearts of many in his short life...and I'm convinced that he will touch many more in the years to come.

Happy Birthday, "Little Man!"
