Chaos Ensues

So the past few weeks have been absolutely...chaotic! :)

We've managed to fit in a "mini-vacation," to the North Shore (specifically...Duluth, MN), attend the Great Minnesota Get-Together (the State Fair) and this weekend we will be sliding in two birthday celebrations (Grandma G. & Cousin H.) as well as a visit to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival! At that point, we'll all have one day to recover before the new school year kicks off!!

"Little Man" is very excited for school to begin. He'll be in 1st grade and attending a new school. He is excited to make some new friends and hoping that he'll see some familiar faces too. We have yet to purchase a new pair of shoes but our school shopping is otherwise complete! 1st grade orientation is later this week, as well as school pictures, and "Little Man" is also looking forward to that day since that is the when he'll learn whether any of the kids from his old school will be in his class at the new school.

So...if you don't see many posts in the next 1-2 weeks, you'll know why -- we will all be adjusting to our new "school" schedule!!
