The View From the Other Side (Outside That Is!)

So we weathered the storm pretty well in my opinion -- school was cancelled but I managed to get the kids to daycare safe and sound, neither my husband nor I ended up stuck in the snow anywhere, and we were both able to get in a full eight hours at work.

To boot, my husband only had to shovel for a total of 2 hours (between last night and this morning) before our new neighbor came over this afternoon and offered us the use of his snowblower! Thank you neighbor!! To shovel all of this (see photo below) snow out of our 3-stall driveway and the sidewalk leading up to our front door would have taken FOREVER!



I'm expecting a return to normacly tomorrow...we'll see what the night and early morning hours bring though. At this point in time, we are still under a Blizzard Warning as well as a Wind Chill and Winter Weather Advisory.
