I decided to not post yesterday but instead do a "double post" today...mostly due to the fact that everyone in our household seems to have simultaneously caught a cold and we all just want to relax last night. So we did! Now we are all hoping to make quick recoveries. But you didn't come her to learn about us being sick, so on to more the important things:
Day 5 of the Chinese New Year brings more fireworks. People will light fireworks on Day 5 in an attempt to get Guan Yu's attention and help to "ensure his favor and good fortune" in the New Year. Day 6 of the Chinese New Year brings nothing that is of much significance so my next post will be regarding Day 7 of the New Year.
