Girls Day Out

As part of my Christmas gift to my neice, who is 11 years old (in the Aero hoodie), I told her that we would spend a "girls day out" shopping, having lunch, etc. after the holidays were over. I did the same thing last year and we had a blast so I figured why not repeat such a good thing? :)

I also decided to invite my best friend and her daughter, who is 13 years old (in the blue), to go with us this year. The girls know each other well and I thought they would both get a kick out of the four of us hanging out.

Ultimately, we spent a good 10 hours on our little excursion. (Although, I must admit that we stopped for about 1 hour for lunch and it took us nearly 2 hours to get home (normally 1 hour) thanks to a snow/ice storm that hit the area while we were having lunch). We still managed to do some pretty good damage in our 8 or so "shopping" hours. We came home with clothes, purses, shoes, a new high chair, a puzzle, Webkinz, and even some birthday presents for some upcoming January birthdays!
