Just a quick update to let you all know that "Feisty Girl's" surgery went well and we are now two weeks into the recovery phrase. We hope to have the external fixator removed in approxmiately two weeks, and then she will go into a cast for approximately another six weeks.
I have this sneaking suspicion that it is going to feel like our summer is over before it even gets started. Back to caretaking...
